'I have known Polly for many years. She is a dedicated and compassionate teacher. As a performing artist she is constantly inquiring and this makes her teaching rich, personal and alive.'
Miranda Tufnell

'Polly is a generous, patient and deeply aware teacher. She has the beautiful quality of putting the learning interests and needs of her students at the heart of her delivery, bringing the right combination of trusting to go beyond your limits and honouring with gracious acceptance, that to work from where you are is good enough. Explorations into touch, discovering another’s kinaesthetic space, issues of our boundaries which we bump into in the dance studio are guided and taught with respect and understanding. A depth of imagery, an acknowledgement of the unknown and the everyday pedestrian normality of moving life make her classes refreshing, inspiring and accessible to all. It is always a pleasure to be in the presence of her teaching.'
Kerstin Wellhofer

She is currently Head of Movement at Birmingham Conservatoire.
